"Headuck Call Blocker" is a call blocking app for protecting users from spam calls and other unwanted phone calls in Hong Kong, using the HKJunkCall database, and optionally other criteria e.g. ☆invalid IDD☆(blocks foreign spammers and deceptive calls), no caller ID or not in contacts, and custom lists, and identifies callers from public institutions / some commercial organisations from the caller ID.

This Development Channel is for release of experimental versions for testing purposes. Your feedback and views are welcome.

For users of Android 5 or above:
Due to the design of Android 5.0 and above, users need to grant the permissions to Headuck Call blocker manually after installation, as follows-

For Android 5.0 or above: Under App Settings ＞ Filtering actions > Set Notification access, please grant notification access to the app for the normal function of "Pick and hang up" filtering method, and for stopping vibration during filtering.
For Android 6.0 or above: Under App Settings > Filtering actions > Draw over other apps, please grant permission to HeaDuck for the App to display pop-up window during call correctly.

IMPORTANT: Please note -
In some models, you need to manually grant this App auto-start and phone tapping permissions, before it can function normally.
If you use task killers (whether as part of the system, such as Samsung or most Mainland phone models, or another App such as CleaX MXster), this App should be exempted from "optimization" for its proper functioning. Huawei phones will probably not work due to aggressive killing of background jobs.

After installing the App, please start and enable blocking for proper functioning.
